Instructional Design Multi-Media Strategy

This Instructional Design Piece identifies the process using iGoogle and is taught using
PowerPoint multimedia presentation Software.

For this assignment, identify a concept or process that could be taught using instructional
media. Then choose an instructional strategy that you think could best be used to teach
that concept or process. Strategies are listed on pages 77-83 of your text and include:

Drill and practice.
Tutorials.
Simulations.
Educational games.
Intelligent tutoring systems.
Virtual reality.

Using your choice of presentation software, create a 3- to 5-slide presentation
outlining the instructional strategy and mix of media that you intend to use to fulfill
your strategy. Imagine an audience who knows little about the instructional media
yet will end up funding or approving your project. Consider why the media and
strategy you have chosen will meet the instructional needs for the project. Refer to
the readings to help you formulate your choices. To the extent possible, use
visuals that help illustrate what you are presenting.
